Cedar Key Clam Sculpture Hunt

Can you find them all?

Explore Cedar Key by golf cart on a 2-hour art scavenger hunt built around the island’s colorful clam sculptures. Discover the artwork, meet Cedar Key through the stories surrounding each stop, and turn an afternoon ride into a hunt for the clams hidden around town.

2 hours • Late-afternoon departures • Small-group golf cart experience

Part Art Tour. Part Scavenger Hunt. Part Cedar Key Story.

Eleven clam sculptures are being placed around Cedar Key by different artists. Our route is designed around the 10 sculptures that are practical to visit by golf cart. We do not walk to the 11th sculpture as part of the guided tour; instead, we share its story and tell you where to find it.

At each stop, you’ll hunt down the clam, take in the artwork and hear a short story about the sculpture, its surroundings or the Cedar Key history connected to that part of the island.

  • Search for 10 accessible clam sculptures
  • Learn about the art and the artists
  • Hear bite-sized Cedar Key history and local stories
  • Plenty of opportunities for photos
  • A relaxed, interactive experience instead of a traditional history lecture

A Different Way to Explore Cedar Key

This tour is designed for visitors who want something playful and uniquely Cedar Key. It works especially well for families, couples, art lovers, repeat visitors and anyone who enjoys a good scavenger hunt.

The clam sculptures provide the route, but every guide brings the experience to life. No two rides have to feel exactly the same.
