Plan a Nature-Focused Cedar Key Visit
Choose one nature stop and give yourself time to enjoy it. Bring water, sun protection, insect repellent and comfortable footwear. Stay on permitted routes and give wildlife space. This guide does not include private research-site access or a guided Eco Tour.
Cedar Key Scrub State Reserve

Living Cedar Key started as a personal blog—a place where we (Ryan and Janeth) could share the quiet charm, local beauty, and stories we discovered during our frequent visits to Cedar Key. Since 2015, we’ve explored nearly every corner of this island, falling more in love with it each time.
